あまりの悲惨さに目を背けたくなりますが、
後世に伝えていくべきとの想いから撮影した一枚です。

The Himeyuri Monument is an essential place to learn about Okinawa's painful history. It's hard to resist the sight of such terribleness, but I took this photo with the feeling that it should be passed on to future generations.
